Context and objective

The conference originates from the objectives of the COMBOdIA project, a collaborative initiative between the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, the University of Liège, the University of Brussels, and the Catholic University of Leuven. Within this project, three research axes have been established in the Department of Architecture at ITC, focusing on sustainable architecture, including bioclimatic design, building life cycle assessment, and collaborative BIM. Through our research, we have identified additional critical elements and emerging advancements in this field. These insights have inspired us and our collaborators to organize the inaugural edition of this conference, aiming to bring together experts and researchers from regional and global communities to engage in discussions on this significant topic.
